1979年，43岁的Buddy Guy录制了专辑Stone Crazy，两年后在美国市场发行。这张专辑共有六首曲目，都是在一天之内完成的。参与录音的除了Buddy Guy，还有他的弟弟Phil Guy(吉他手)，J.W.Williams(贝斯手)，Ray Allison(鼓手)。更不可思议的是，他们在同一天还帮助Junior Wells(Guy的老朋友)完成了另一张专辑Pleading the Blues。一天搞出两张唱片，看来并非总是慢工出细活，至少在艺术上经常有又快又好的例子。王家卫的《重庆森林》只拍了两个星期，贾樟柯的《小武》也只花了21天就完成了。
